Jesse is here!

Jesse Tanner Brock arrived on July 19, 2008 at 9:47 P.M. 7.5 lbs and 19 3/4 inches

Jesse's arrival:
On Friday, July 18, we went back to the Dr. only to find out that I was still all closed up and not dialated...no inducing again! I was again disappointed, but not for long! Saturday evening as we were eating dinner (about 6:30ish) I started noticing some pains. I told my mom and Tanner that the baby was going to come tonight...which they just blew off b/c I'm always crying wolf about having contractions. Tanner went outside and started fixing his truck and took it for a drive. Between the time he left and when we got back which was all of 10 min. my contractions were 3 min. apart! He walked in the door and I told him we have to go to the hospital...which again, he did not believe, but went along with me anyway (thank goodness). We got to the hospital about 7:30 and I was already 4 cm dialated. I had to get a bag of fluid in me and they had to get my blood test results back before I could get an epidural, all of which took awhile. So around 9:30ish I finally got the epidural. By the time if took effect, I was 10 cm dialated and started pushing. I pushed three times and out popped Jesse! It was the fasted labor ever, and had I known that he would have come out so quickly (unlike his sis) I should have just gone natural. I felt every contraction up until that point and it was NOT fun!!! My mom made it to the hospital just in time!
Tanner and I decided on the name Jesse Tanner as we were turning into the hospital and it fits him so perfectly. I have heard that name means A gift from God and when I looked it up online, I also found that it meant God exists. This name couldn't be more perfect for our little gift from God! He's beautiful and healthy and Annie loves him!!! Please keep us in your prayers!!!
Here are some pictures of our new addition...
drugged and ready to push!

Jesse!

Sweet boy

I'm so in love again!

Nonnie and Papa brought Annie to the hospital yesterday to meet her new brother. She was so sweet with him...giving him kisses, but she was way more interested in pulling the curtain around the room than she was anything else!

Kissing Jesse...sweet girl!

Papa, Daddy, and Jesse

Tanner was hiding himself in the curtain and annie was trying to find him...she thought this was hillarious!

Sounds like our weekend was a lot alike! Labor started and didn't stop until it was over and FAST! And we got sweet new little boys! I think they're just 10 hours apart if my math is right! Congratulations on Jesse, I hope they get to meet very soon...our future little Bulldogs! He is so beautiful.

As I commented to Nonnie, in fishing terms: "Jesse is a keeper!" What a perfect son and beautiful family. Love the meaning of Jesse's name. He and Annie will have great times together. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
